This has been an incredible journey so far. It was intense at times but what a great learning experience!

Book recommendation "Eat What You Love Everyday" by Marlene Koch. A great all around cookbook to have if you are diabetic, low sugar or counting points and want to have the traditional favorites, comfort food or quick and easy tasty meal without the guess work of figuring out the points and without the guilt of having the higher fat or sugar of the traditional recipe.

Please subscribe to my friend, A Healthier Ree and encourage her on her no sugar added challenge during this month!: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjK4...

During the month of June I am challenging myself to:
1. Have no refined added sugar
2. Have one cooked food meal daily ( for 1st 2 weeks) all other daily meals will be raw food based fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. The last two weeks of the month I will add in cooked veggies in place with the raw.
On a side note, I also challenge myself to:
Up my water intake
Get 7-8 hours sleep nightly
Walk 1-3 miles daily

Feel free to come along and watch or try some or all of these challenges if you want for the month of June!

Getting off on the right foot into the New Year. Take it one day at a time.
